Homestay hosts needed now
WITH university set to return for 2023, the Australian Homestay Network (AHN) is in desperate need of local hosts for short-term study tours.
For three to four weeks, starting from 11 of February, Japanese students aged 18 and older will be attending classes at the University of Tasmania.
These students will require somewhere to stay during their studies.
In exchange for your hosting services, you will receive $275 tax-free per student per week, and are allowed to host up to three students at one time.
Not only will you be earning an extra income and meeting new people, but by hosting an international student, you will also be enriching the daily life of your household, building a lifelong relationship with your guest, and experiencing a unique cultural exchange.
If you’re interested in becoming a host, go to ahnhomestay.co/paidhomestayhost-media or contact the AHN on 03 9458 9000 today.
