Get ready for Santa’s Funland

SANTA’S Funland is gearing up for Christmas fun when it returns to the Derwent Entertainment Centre for two exciting days in the lead-up to Christmas.

Morning, afternoon and early evening sessions run on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 December.

The entrance fee covers three hours of Christmas fun and activities.

This includes unlimited carnival rides suitable for all the family (dodgem cars, rollercoaster, Gee Wizzer, tea cups, bumper boats, merry-go-round, bouncy castles and more); a walk-through magical winter forest with falling snow; free face painting at the elves’ workshop; interactive stage performances and parades; and, of course, the chance to meet Santa himself and maybe take a selfie.

The Tasmanian Bee Bop dancers, pictured with Santa Claus, will be back this year with their Christmas show and fantastic dancing penguins and everyone is encouraged to join in the Christmas fun during the Grand Parade.

For the first time this year – and for the first time in Tasmania – the Amazing Danny (family magician) will be entertaining young and old with his amazing Christmas magic show.
