Volkswagen Hobart wins national dealer award

TASMANIAN car dealer Jackson Motor Company (JMC) has won the Volkswagen Provincial Dealer of the Year award for 2015.

The coveted award is determined by a combination of target achievement, quality and customer satisfaction across sales, parts and service.

JMC Hobart City and Jackson Commercial Centre dealer principals Kristy and Troy Stewart accepted the award at the national Dealer of the Year awards ceremony in Sydney.

Mr Stewart said the awards were very competitive, with more than 100 Volkswagen dealers across Australia vying for top honours.

“To perform so well at a national level really is a credit to our people, right across the business,” he said.

“Volkswagen is a strong and growing brand and we are seeing that in terms of sales here in Hobart, both in passenger and commercial vehicles.”

Ms Stewart said the award served as a form of validation for the team’s efforts.

“On top of our new facility development, we have a dynamic mix of product, people, training and community involvement that can stand up to any other provincial dealer in the country,” she said.

“We would especially like to thank our customers, as without Tasmanians supporting their local dealer, we could not have achieved this accolade.”

Jackson Volkswagen in Launceston finished in the top three of the Major Rural Dealer category.
