Organise your home and reduce waste

IF you have a case of spring cleaning fever, the City of Hobart can help you out with a free de-cluttering workshop to be held at the Hobart Town Hall on 12 October.

The EcoOrganiser workshop is being facilitated by the City to help people think about waste and what they actually need in their homes.

The workshop is being run by interior designer Tanya Lewis – author of ‘Stuff Off!’ and founder of EcoOrganiser.

Running from 6.30pm-8.30pm in the Town Hall auditorium, the workshop will offer plenty of practical exercises and tips, including the 10 ‘R’s – rethink, responsible, refuse, repurpose, reorganise, repair, reduce, reuse, recycle, reward.

To book your free place, email waste@hobartcity.com.au.
