Nominations open to recognise Tassie’s best

NOMINATIONS for the Tasmanian Young Achiever Awards for 2020 are now open in 11 categories.

The Tasmanian Young Achiever Awards recognises the contribution made by individuals under 29 across the state.

These individuals show inspirational qualities such as finding time to help others, being a leader and role model for their peers, and paving a way for the future though innovative thinking.

There are ten categories, including:

  • Tasplan Super Create Change Award
  • Spirit of Tasmania Tourism and Hospitality Award
  • TADPAC Print Service to the Disability Sector Award
  • Colony 47 Transition to Work Award
  • Heather and Christopher Chong Community Service and Volunteering Award
  • Dental South Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Achievement Award
  • St. Lukes Health Healthier Communities Award
  • First National Real Estate Leadership Award
  • Motors Tasmania Sports Award
  • Travel Associates Career Achievement Award

One of the 10 category winners will be named the 2020 Premier’s Young Achiever of the Year.

Category winners will each receive $1000 and a trophy courtesy of Axsys.

The 2020 Premier’s Young Achiever of the Year will win an additional $2000 from the Tasmanian Government and a state trophy.
