Nominations now open

NOMINATIONS are now open for the City of Hobart’s 2019 Australia Day and Citizenship Awards.

Community members are invited to have their say in celebrating individuals or events.

The awards will be presented to citizens recognising both their personal achievements and outstanding contributions to the local community.

The City of Hobart Australia Day and Citizenship Awards are an opportunity to recognise those people in our community doing great things for others.

These people work hard to make a difference in the local community and are some of the many unsung heroes among us.

If community members would like to congratulate an unsung hero, it is as simple as completing a nomination form.

A nomination form asks why the nominee is inspiring and what they’ve done to help the community.

Nominations are welcomed for anyone who has made a noteworthy contribution to the Hobart community.

Nominations for the 2019 City of Hobart Australia Day and Citizenship Awards close on 19 October.

Nomination forms are available on the City of Hobart website at www.hobartcity.com.au/AusDayAwards or can be requested by emailing winterj@hobartcity.com.au or phoning 6238 2100.
