New benchmark for Hobart Lions
THE Lions Club of Hobart Town recently launched a special bench for Queenborough Rise Uniting Aged Care facility residents.
The club agreed to sponsor the seat following a request from Queenborough Rise which asked for help to establish a place in Peel Street, Sandy Bay for residents to rest when walking in the area.
The Lions Club of Hobart Town has received a number of messages of support for the project.
The Lions Club of Hobart Town meets at the Derwent Sailing Squadron (DSS) on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month.
