Leisurefest Roadshow comes to town

WITH Tasmanians now hankering for summer and some fun in the sun, the Leisurefest Roadshow will be coming to Macquarie Point in October.

The event will take place over three-days from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 October.

Leisurefest Roadshow organiser Jeff Leech said for the first time, the show would be held at the Macquarie Point Expo Pavilion and Outdoor Area on Evans Street.

“This is a great new venue for a show such as this, it’s within walking distance of Sullivan’s Cove and the CBD with plenty of on-site parking,” he said.

“We have been working closely with the Macquarie Point Development Corporation and they have been great to deal with.

“The huge indoor area in the Expo Pavilion (formerly Searoad Shed) and the outdoor sealed area will house huge displays and demonstration sites for all the top brands of caravans, motorhomes, camper trailers and accessories.

“With the summer camping and 4WDing season looming, JAYCO Caravans will be displaying their ARB 4×4 accessories van, so visitors can check out the huge range of accessories.

“This includes bull bars, air compressors, hi-lift jacks, winches, canopies, fridge freezers, roof racks and storage, water tanks and battery chargers.”

To help parents keep the young ones happy there will be a kid’s zone, jumping castle, slide and helicopter rides – fun for the whole family.

For the food fanatics, there will be everything to satisfy the taste buds, from coffee, take away and snacks to ice-creams, drinks and treats.

The Leisurefest Roadshow is the perfect event if you are into outdoor adventure, are the keen camper, an enthusiastic adventurer or simply love the great outdoors.

The Leisurefest Roadshow will be open Friday and Saturday from 10am-5pm and Sunday from 1am-4pm.

Entry is off Red Square.
