DENTAL on Gregory is once again expanding its skillset by welcoming new dentist Dr Aakriti Bhola to the practice.
Joining principal dentist Dr Saf Devji, who has been running the practice for more than six years, Dr Bhola is bringing her more than a decade of experience to the dental team.
Having started at the practice last month, Dr Bhola is already making a mark on her new patients and her work ethic fits in perfectly with Dental on Gregory’s ethos of dental prevention, gentle care and full aesthetic solutions.
Dr Bhola, a native Hobartian who graduated from the University of Adelaide before returning to Tasmania following the birth of her first child, said she was excited to join the Dental on Gregory team.
She said the practice had a “friendly feel to it.”
“In the first two weeks of working here, I was already thoroughly enjoying myself,” she said.
“Dr Saf and the staff treat me like family and the patients are really lovely.”
Having worked in the industry for more than a decade, Dr Bhola is proficient in most areas of dentistry.
However, she said she had a particular interest in preventative and restorative dentistry, as well as periodontics (gum care).
“Being up to date with the latest technology is very important to me and I regularly attend professional development courses,” Dr Bhola said.
“Visiting the dentist can be a nerve-wracking experience and my goal is to ensure that my patients receive high quality dental treatment in a relaxed atmosphere.
“Helping someone smile is by far the best part of being a dentist.”
When she’s not working, you can find Dr Bhola travelling, cooking or attempting to keep up with her nine-month-old son.
Currently open to new and emergency patients, Dental on Gregory is a Medibank Choice Provider and offers a no gap initial appointment for all new patients who have private health insurance with dental cover.
Dental on Gregory is located at Level 1, 6 Gregory Street, Sandy Bay.
