Community development grants up for grabs

THE City of Hobart has opened applications for the new round of Creative Hobart, Event and Community grants.

If any local citizens have a community project in mind that they need help executing, these grants are a wonderful way to seek funding support and get projects into action.

The City of Hobart is offering $212,000 worth of grants this year.

Supported projects will be accessible to the community and help to make Hobart a wonderful, vibrant, connected and creative place to live, work and visit.

Grants are available for eligible individuals, organisations and groups to deliver socially inclusive projects which can provide direct benefits to the Hobart community.

City of Hobart is offering two free information sessions for locals to learn more about the grants, eligibility criteria and have an opportunity to brainstorm through their project ideas.

The two information sessions will be held at 1pm and 5.30pm on Tuesday 21 August in the Hobart Town Hall Conference Room.

This round of grant applications will close on 10 September 2018.

Guidelines and links to application forms are available on the City of Hobart website at hobartcity.com.au/grants.
