A decade of design
ELIZABETH Street in Hobart’s CBD is currently home to some of the best design work that has been produced by Tasmanian artists over the past decade.
The Design Tasmania Award 10 Year Exhibition tells the story of humble beginnings through to the evolution of the state’s most prestigious design accolade that recognises and promotes excellence in design and innovation.
The annual award provides a platform for emerging, established and professional designers and acts to inspire creative and sophisticated ideas.
Designers and past winners included in the 10 Year Exhibition include David Mayhew, Richard Levett, Chris Berndt, Adam Aberle, Anita Dineen and Linda Van Niekerk.
The exhibition is showing at 146 ArtSpace, located at 146 Elizabeth Street Hobart, until 24 November.
